New Kaptio, product architecture

One connected travel ecosystem, and where it goes next.

For the product team. Starts from the diagram we already use, morphs it into the four-surface architecture one idea at a time, and ends with the five system landscapes a customer can compose. Click any box for what it is, who uses it, and the Ark intents building it.

Act 1 . Today

The diagram we already tell

This is the "one connected travel ecosystem" from the What-is-Kaptio showcase, unchanged: CRM holds the relationships. Core runs the operation. Edge delivers the experiences. Everything in the morph starts from here, so nothing about the future story asks the team to forget the current one.

Layer 01 . Relationships

Layer 02 . Operation

Layer 03 . Experiences

Act 2 . The morph

The verbs stay. The places change.

Seven steps from today's picture to the four-surface architecture. Use the buttons or arrow keys; every box stays clickable for detail and the Ark intents behind it.

Relationships . in the CRM

CRM adapter . headers written asynchronously . PII never leaves the CRM

The surfaces . what teams and travellers touch

The engine . headless, one source of truth

The supply seam . the engine takes supply from plugs

Act 3 . System landscapes

Five shapes a customer can compose

The showcase's three landscapes grow to five. The big correction from the old telling: the third shape is headless and composable, not "API-first" — the agentic layer that shapes and operates interfaces is present in every shape, including when a customer brings their own front ends. We never hand a customer a pile of APIs and a build-it-yourself program.
